printed by the General Assembly of either House
thereol, at said ensuing session, and which respec-
tive bids shall stipulate for doing the said work so
bid for, in a good and workmanlike manner; and all
printing not enumerated shall be in usual octavo or
bill folio pages, as the General Assembly, or either
house thereof, may expressly carder, and, shall be paid
for. whether plain or tabulated, at the price of one
dollar and fifty cents per page, octavo, per thousand,
long primer type, and two dollars and fifty cents per
page bill folio for the first thousand copies printed of
either, and at the rate of thirty three per cent, less
for each additional thousand copies; but no printing
not hereinbefore enumerated shall be paid for unless
upon an order stating the cost of the same, and passed
by a yea and nay vote of either the Senate or House.
The Governor's Message, the Repon of the. Comp-
troller of the Treasury, the State Treasurer's Report,
the Report of the Adjutant General, the State School
Report, the Report of the Insurance Commissioner,
the Report of the State Board of Health and the
Report of the State Fish Commissioners, shall be
printed on good white paper, twenty-four by thirty
inches, fifty pounds to the ream; the size of the pages
to be regular octavo, and the type used shall be long
primer for the body of all the various reports, and
brevier for the tabular statements.
So much of said printing as shall be necessary for
the General Assembly during its session, shall be de-
livered to the presiding officers of both Houses, and
the residue shall be delivered to the State Librarian,
to be by him distributed as provided by law.
And the said bids shall be transmitted to said clerk
on or before the said 25th day of September, 1903,
together with a bond to the State of Maryland, in the
penally of thirty thousand dollars, to be executed by
the bidder, with two or more1 sureties, conditioned for
the due prompt and faithful compliance with the con-
tract to be entered into wlien his'-bid shall be accepted.
Said bills shall be opened at 12 o'clock. M, on said
25tb day of September, 1903, and not before, in the
Clerk's office of the Court of Appeals of Maryland.
