ORDERS.
Mr. Gill from the Committee on Rules offered the
following:
Ordered, That the Rules of the session of 1902 be
adopted as the rules governing the present session of
the Senate.
Which was read, and
Thereupon,
Mr. Brewington, moved that action upon the Rules
be deffered until to-morrow, January the 21st, 1904.
Which was adopted.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Gill,
A bill entitled "An Act to establish a Sewerage
system for the city of Baltimore; to empower the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to issue stock to
an amount not exceeding ten million ($10,000,000) dol-
lars for the purpose of defraying the cost of said
Sewerage system; to authorize the submission of an
ordinance to that end to the legal voters of the city of
Baltimore; to empower the Commissioners of Finance
of said city in their discretion, to use parts of the
Western Maryland purchase money for the redemp-
tion and purchase of such stock, and to authorize the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to establish a
system of sewer rates."
Which was read the first time and referred to the
Baltimore city Senators.
