MONDAY, March 28th, 1892.
Senate met at 8 P. M.

In the absence of the President the Senate was called
to order by the Secretary.

Prayer by the Rev. Mr. McDowell.

After which the Secretary informed the Senate that
the President was absent from the seat of Govern-
ment.

The Senate proceeded to the election of a President
pro tem.

Mr. Hayes nominated Hon. Robert Moss.

The motion being put by the Secretary, Hon. Robt.
Moss was declared elected President pro tem., and
took the Chair.

The President directed the Clerk to call the roll
when the following Senators answered to their names :

Messrs; Austin, Coffin, Dawson, Evans, Getty, Gor-
ter, Hayes, Hepbron,, Hubner, Moss, Pearre, Posey,
Robinson, Rogers, Seibert, Smith, Waters. Wirt.,
Wootton—19.

Proceedings of Friday's session read and ap-
proved.

ORDERS.

Mr. Evans submitted the following :

Whereas, the Senate passed an order January 6th,
requiring the State . Printer to furnish Journals for
the newspapers of the State, for which no appropria-
tion was made.

Ordered, That the State Printer be paid fifty cents
per page for Journals printed for the newspapers of
the State, and that $650 or so much as may be neces-
sary is hereby appropriated therefor.

Which was read, and referred, to the Committee on
Finance.
