AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Secti6n 9, line 4, insert after word "inlet" the fol-
lowing words: "in sufficient quantities to salt the
waters of said bay for the planting, cultivation and
growth of oysters in said bay."

Substitute in place of section 16 the following:
"Section 16. And be it enacted, That all Acts or
parts of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act be and the same are hereby repealed."
Add section 17:

"Section 17. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of of its passage."

Which were concurred in, and bill passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :
