following: "Provided that one of said Commissioners
shall be of the minority party."

ported favorably, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 138, of chapter 538, of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1890.

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 1, line 15, strike out all after the word
''place," and insert the following: "and the sum of
one thousand dollars per annum, or as much thereof
as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of
any funds in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated
for the employment of clerical help to assist at the
Executive Department in preparing and attending to
the election business hereby assigned the Executive
office.

Which was adopted.
