House bill entitled an Act to correct and make per-
fect the charter of the Monumental Social Club of
Baltimore city,

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend by inserting after the words "the omission,"
in the second line of section 1, the words following :
"The names of the incorporators of the Monumental
Social Club of Baltimore city."

Insert after the word "the," in third line of section
1, the word "said."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time.

And, unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to exempt
to such extent as to them may seem expedient any
species of personal property or improvements to real
estate from taxation for city purposes.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Wootton, from the Committee on Agriculture
and Labor, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the de-
struction of fruit trees in the State of Maryland in-
fected with the disease known as the "Yellows."

With pending amendments and the following addi-
tional amendments :

At end of section 1, strike out "county," and add
"and Kent counties."
