Senate bill entitled an Act to sanction the bequest
of Miles Crow, of Harford county, to the Rev. Francis
M. Fowler.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Hayes,

Senate bill entitled an Act to add a section to Ar-
ticle 47, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Insolvents, " to be known as "34. "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Hubner, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Baltimore Union Passenger Railway Company,
and to empower said corporation to use the Cable
system or Electricity as a motive power upon its rail-
ways in Baltimore city and county, and to authorize
the said corporation to consolidate with any other
Passenger Railway Company.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Senate bill entitled an Act to sanction the gifts and
grants made by Margaret M. Davis to the Woodstock
College of Baltimore city.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Cherry
Chase Land Company of Montgomery county to
exercise its powers in the District of Columbia.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Cherry
Chase Land Company of Montgomery county, Mary-
land, to sell or contract with the Rock Creek Railway
Company of the District of Columbia, and to define
the powers of the Rock Creek Railway Company.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
