ORDER OF THE DAY.

The hour of 12.30 P. M. having arrived, the Presi-
dent announced the Order of the Day, to be the con-
sideration of

Senate bill entitled an Act to increase the salaries
of the Judges of this State.

Which was considered, and
On motion by Mr. Gorter,

Said bill was made the Order of the Day for Thurs-
day, March 24th, at 12.30 P. M.

ORDER OF THE DAY.

The hour of 12.30 having arrived, the President
announced the Order of the Day to be. the passage of
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments new section 131, of Article 33, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Elections," as
enacted by the Act of 1890, chapter 538.

Which was read the third time, and failed for want
of a constitutional majority, by yeas and nays, as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Austin, Hubner,
Dawson, Moss,
Evans, Robinson,
Getty, Rogers,
Gorter, Seibert,
Hayes, Smith—13.
Hepbron,

NEGATIVE.

Messrs. President, Po ey,

Pearre,

On motion by Mr. Hayes,

The vote by Which said bill failed to receive a con-
stitutional majority, was reconsidered.

Said bill was then passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :
