ent values of personal property, real property, and
under one head bonds, stocks and other private secu-
rities in the basis of taxation, and the State Tax
Commissioner is specially charged with the enforce-
ment of this requirement."

Mr. Hayes submitted the following proposed amend-
ment :

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 180, line 4, strike out "excepting," and
insert in lieu thereof "and."

In same section, line 3, after the word "except," in-
sert "that in."

In same section line 5, after the word "of," insert
"in" in lieu thereof.

In same section, line 3, before "county and except,'
insert "bracket," and in line 7, after ninety-two, in-
sert "bracket."

"Provided, that this Act shall not apply to the
assessment and collection of State, county and city
