Said bill was recommitted to the Baltimore City
Senators.

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the de-
struction of fruit trees in the State of Maryland in-
fected with the disease known as the yellows.
Was considered.

Mr. Hepbron submitted the following amendment:
Wherever the words "County Commissioners" ap-
pear in this bill, strike out the same, and insert in
lieu thereof the words "Judges of the Orphans'
Court. "

Section 9. Be it enacted, That this Act shall go into
effect June 1st, 1898.
