House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact

section 26, of Article 9, of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled "Attachments. "

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Cam-
bridge Female Seminary, incorporated by the Act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, of 1858, chapter
201, the Cambridge Academy, incorporate I by the Act
of 1812, chapter 123, and the Board of County School
Commissioners of Dorchester county, to enter into an
arrangement in reference to academic school educa-
tion in the town of Cambridge.

Which were read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add sections to Article
27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes
and Punishments, " sub-title "For the Safety of Per-
sons Traveling on Railroads, " requiring railroads to
operate telegraph or telephone service along their
lines.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed
at the January Session, 1878, chapter 343, as codified
in the Code of Public General Laws, Article 27, title
"Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "House of
Refuge, " section 353, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact

section 64, of Article 81, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title "Revenue and Taxes. "

Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 32, of
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

With the following proposed amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend title by inserting after the words "Article
ninety-three, " the additional words "title Testamen-
tary Law, " sub-title "Administration. "

Amend section 1, by inserting after the word "Art-
icle nine-three, " the additional words "title Testa-
mentary Law, " sub-title "Administration. "

Which were adopted.
