of Clarksburg, in Montgomery county.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Posey, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Governor to appoint an additional Justice of the
Peace for Election Districts Nos. 1, 4 and 7, of Charles
county.

With the following proposed amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend by inserting in line two of the title, after
the word "for" and preceding the word "election, "
the words "each of. "

Amend by inserting in line 3, after the word "for"
and preceding the word "election, " the words
"each of, " and at the end of said "section" the
words "of Charles county, Maryland. "
