House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay Wm. H. Taylor for services Tendered
the House of Delegates as Flag Hoister, Robt. Bellis
as Assistant Postmaster, and Benjamin Sevier as
Keeper of Cloak Room.
House bill entitled an Act requiring the Comptroller
to issue his warrant upon the Treasury for sums with-
held from Garrett county, owing to not having been
able to keep open the county schools seven and one-
half months in each year.
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay Lewis H. Rehn the sum of one hun-
dred and twenty-two dollars and seventy-five cents as
commission on money collected by him as Collector
and Treasurer of the City of Annapolis, from appli-
cants for liquor licenses and paid by him to the State
of Maryland.
House bill entitled an Act to refund to Alexander
Barnett, administrator of Alexander H. Barnett, late
of Talbot county, deceased, the sum of forty-four dol-
lars and twenty-nine cents, taxes paid in error into
the State Treasury.
House bill entitled an Act to pay Charles T. Rowe,
late Collector of State Taxes for Frederick county for
the years 1888 and 1889, a sum of money for State
taxes paid by him into the State Treasury erroneously.
House bill entitled an Act to refund to John H.
Gibbs, late Collector of State Taxes for the Second
Collection District of Somerset county, certain moneys
paid by him into the Treasury of the State.

Committee on Finance.
House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the laying of
railway tracks upon certain streets in the city "of Bal-
timore, without the consent of the General Assembly.
Which was read the first time, and referred to
the Baltimore City Senators.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 233, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Rape, " and
chapter 410, of the Acts of Assembly of 1890, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
