BY THE SENATE,

February 24th, 1892.

Mr. Hayes submitted the following:

Resolved, That the announcement to the Senate of
the death of the Honorable Joseph F. Talbott, late

sorrow and regret, and that the Senate is deeply sen-
sible of the great loss it has sustained in the taking
off of one of its most honored members.

Resolved, That in the death of the Honorable Jos-
eph F. Talbott, the State has lost an honorable and
upright citizen, and the people of Calvert county a
most worthy representative.

his seat in this Body, he had gained the respect, re-
gard and affection of his fellow Senators.

Resolved, That as a son most loving, as a husband
most devoted and affectionate, as a father most kind
and indulgent, as a friend sincere and unselfish, he
has won the love and esteem of all those with whom
he has come in contact.

Resolved, That the sympathy of this Senate is
hereby extended to the family of the Hon. Joseph F.
Talbott, in this the hour of their bereavement.

Resolved, That the Secretary of the Senate be
directed to transmit to the family of the deceased a
