Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Talbott County, " sub-title "Birds and Game. "

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Moss, from a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Annapolis, Eastport and Bay Ridge Electric Rail and
Power Company of Anne Arundel county.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Newman, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably, the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to add additional sections
to Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, entitled "Frederick County, " sub-title
"Justices of the Peace and Constables. "

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the trial
by the Justice of the Peace of Election District No. 2,
in Frederick county, of persons charged with, violating
any of the ordinances of the Mayor and Aldermen of
Frederick county.

Which were read the second time.

BILLS AND RESOLUTIONS—THIRD READING.

Senate bill entitled an Act providing that the direct
war tax levied by the United States upon the State of
Maryland, and paid by the State of Maryland to the
United States, and recently refunded by the United
States to the State of Maryland, shall be credited to
the Defence Redemption Loan of the State of Mary-
land, and invested for said loan in such securities as
are provided by law for the investment of the securi-
ties of the Sinking Fund.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:
