Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates,
House Joint Resolution requesting and directing the
Senators and Representatives of the State of Mary-
land in the Congress of the United States, to use their
best efforts to secure the passage of a bill having for
its object the transfer of the revenue Marine Service
from the Treasury Department to the Navy Depart-
ment of the United States.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Getty, Seibert,
Gorter, Waters,
Hepbron, Wirt,

Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 343,
344, 345, 846, 347, 348, 349, 350, 351, 352, 353, 354, 355,
356, 357, 358, 359, and 360, of Article 8, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil county, " sub-title
" Warwick. "

Mr. Wirt submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED,

In section 1, line 4, strike out the word "three, "
being the last word in said line.
