Said bill was then returned to the House of Dele-
gates,

Mr. Hayes, from a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 653 B, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title
"Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks, " as enacted by
chapter 343 of the Acts of 1890.
With the following proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 1, in 9th line, after the word "prescribed, "
insert the following words, viz:

"Provided, however, that the Liquor License Com-
missioners appointed in April, 1890, shall continue in
office until the expiration of the term for which they
were appointed. "
Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Brown,
The Senate proceeded to the consideration of
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 81, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Revenue and
Taxes, " sub-title "Sales by Collectors. "

Which had heretofore been considered and ordered
to lie over.
Mr. Brown submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend by striking out the words "in the 9th, 10th

and 11th lines of 63 A, " therein the words following:

"including an appearance fee of ten dollars to the

attorney preparing and conducting, the proceedings. "

Which was adopted.
