Mr. Robinson, from the Committee of Conference,
submitted the following
REPORT:
To the Honorable the Senate :
The undersigned members, composing the Joint
Conference Committee of the Senate and the House of
Delegates upon the disagreeing votes of the two
Houses upon the amendments of the Senate to House
Bill No. 241, being the Act providing for the general
appropriations for State purposes for the year 1893,
respectfully report:
That after a conference they have arrived at the fol-
lowing agreement, which they recommend for adoption
by your Honorable Body, viz :
That the House recede from its objections to the
Senate amendments to House Bill No. 241, and concur
therein, with the following amendments :
Amend by striking out the word "three," in line
four of page two of the bill, and insert in lieu thereof
the word "four," and by striking out the words
"twenty-four," in line five of same page and insert in
lieu thereof the words "thirty-one."
Amend by striking out the words "two thousand
and eight hundred," in line seven of same page, and
insert in lieu thereof the words "three thousand and
six hundred," and by striking out the word "thirty,"
in same line of same page, and insert in lieu thereof
the word "fifty."
Amend by striking out the words "nine thousand
two hundred," in line eight of same page and insert in
lieu the words "thousand four hundred."
Amend by striking out the word "three," in line
ten of same page, and insert in lieu thereof "four."
