"Entitled an Act to add certain sections to Article
11, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled 'Fred-
erick County,' sub-title 'County Commissioners,' to
to follow section 95 of said Article, to be known as
sections 95 A, 95 B, 95 C, 95 D, 95 E, 95 F and 95 G.
"Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the following sections be added to
Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the
State of Maryland, entitled 'Frederick County,' sub-
title 'County Commissioners,' to follow sections 95 of
said Article, to be known as sections 95 A, 95 B, 96 C,
95 D, 95 E, 95 F and 95 G.
"95 A. In all cases in which petitions are filed for
the opening, altering or closing of public roads in
Frederick county, under the provisions of Article 25 of
the Code of Public General Laws, the County Com-
missioners shall first determine whether the public
convenience requires the opening, altering or closing
of the public road as petitioned for, and to that end
may visit in a body or by a committee of their own
number appointed for that purpose, the locality in
which it is proposed to open, alter or close such pub-
lic road, and ascertain the required conveniences of the
community through which it is proposed such new,
altered or closed road shall run, and if they shall be
of opinion that the public convenience of such com-
munity does require the opening of a new road, or the
altering or closing of an old road, as the case may be,
