1228 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Apl. 2,

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and
delivered the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 312,
of Article 93, Code of Public General Laws, title
"Testamentary Law," sub-title "Wills."

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2,8, of
Article 17, Code of Public General Laws, title "Clerks
of Courts," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 53, Code of Public General Laws, title "land-
lord and Tenant," sub-title "Distress for Rent."

House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 53, Code of Public General Laws, title "Land-
land and Tenant." sub-title "Prohibiting the Removal,
Sale or Destruction of Property Liable for Rent, &c."

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
-Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to establish an Asylum
for the Insane of the State of Maryland.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money for the support of the Maryland Homeopathic
Dispensary of Baltimore for the years 1892 and 1893.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a certain
sum of money to the support of the Maryland Homeo-
pathic Free Dispensary and Hospital of Baltimore
city.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to prohibit book-making,
pool selling, or gambling, or racing, or contest, or
other events in Baltimore county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs Hubner, Bennett and Brown.

Also, delivered,

House Joint Resolutions directing a survey of the
natural oyster beds or bars in the Chesapeake Bay.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Also returned, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Worcester county to appropriate
