Mr. Wilkinson submitted the following proposed
amendments:

AMENDMENTS PRO POSED.

In line 8 of section 26, after the word "for," insert
the words, "two, four and."

And in same line, after the word "of," strike out
"his" and insert the word "their."

And in same line, after the word "election," strike
out ''and shall be ineligible."

And in line 9 of .same section, strike out the words
"for six years thereafter."

Strike out the words "seventy-five dollars," at end
of section 26 A. and insert the words "one hundred

dollars."

Strike out all after the letter "K," and insert as
follows :

"The present Board of County Commissioners shall
hold their office for two years from the date of their
election and until their successors are elected and

qualified; on Tuesday after the first Monday of
November, 1893, the number of County Commission-
ers for said county shall be reduced to three, and on
the said Tuesday after the first Menday of November,
1893, three County Commissioners for said county
shall be elected, one from each of the Commissioner
Districts provided for in section 26 of this Act ; after
the said election the Governor, after receiving the
official returns, shall finally determine by lot which of
the said three Commissioners shall hold his office for
the term of two years, and which for the term of four
years, and which for the term of . six years, and in
accordance with said determination by lot shall issue
to them thir commissions for their several terms."

In section 26 C, line 2, strike out after the word

"State," the words "after-the passage of this Act,"
and insert in lieu thereof the words "on Tuesday after
the first Monday, of November, 1895,"

In line 3, of section 26 C, after the word "Commis-
sioner," insert the words "for the term of six years
and."
