1090 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 30

Amend section 1, by inserting in line 2 thereof,
after the word "laws," the following: "As enacted by
chapter 519, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1898."

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then read the third time, and passed
by yeas and nays, as follows, with proposed amend-
ments :
