LAWS OF MARYLAND

 

David Hayes, the said sum of five hundred and

 

eighty-one dollars and sixty-nine cents, for taxes

 

erroneously paid by him and his co-executor, Thomas

 

Donaldson, deceased, for county taxes for the years

 

eighteen hundred and seventy-two, eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-three, eighteen hundred and seven-

 

ty-four, and eighteen hundred and seventy-five, upon

 

personal property of said estate, which had been sold
by them prior to said years ; and the said County
Commissioners are further authorized to levy for said

 

amount a sum sufficient to repay and refund unto

 

said David Carson said sum erroneously paid.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passag'e.

CHAPTER 462.

 

AN ACT to enable the qualified voters of certain

 

election districts of Dorchester county to deter-

 

mine by ballot whether spirituous or fermented

 

liquors shall be sold in said districts, or a license

 

granted for the sale of the same therein.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That at the next election for member

 

of Congress of the United States from the first Con-

 

gressional district of Maryland, to be held in Dor-

 

chester county, on the next Tuesday after the first
Monday in November, in the year eighteen hundred

 

and seventy-eight, there shall be held an election in
