CHAPTER 438.
AN ACT to refund William H. Jeffees the sum of
" forty dollars, erroneously paid into the State
Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and is here- by authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer, payable to the order of William H. Jeffees, of Queen Anne's county, for the sum of forty	Refund money erro- neously paid

CHAPTER 439.

AN ACT to repeal section five of chapter one hun-
dred and thirteen of the acts of eighteen hundred
and seventy-six, entitled " An act to repeal section
five of chapter three hundred and eighty-one of
the acts of eighteen hundred and seventy-two, en-
titled 'An act to provide for the destruction of
hawks and owls, and to protect the class of small
birds, known as insectivorous birds, in Prince
George's, Talbot and Montgomery counties,'" and
to re-enact the same with amendments, so as to
exclude Montgomery and Talbot counties from
the provisions of said section.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section five of chapter one hun-
dred and thirteen of the acts of eighteen hundred
