is hereby repealed and re-enacted as follows :

95. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset

drag or dredge in the waters of said county, subject

to the provisions of this law, for one year from the

date of said license, for which said license the sum

of ten dollars shall be paid to said clerk ; provided

that no such license shall be taken and understood

as authorizing the use and employment of any boat,

canoe, or other vessel in the taking and catching of

oysters under said license over ten tons, custom-house

measurement ; and provided also that said license shall

not authorize the taking or catching of oysters be-

tween the first days of May and October in each year;

and all moneys received by said clerk for license

under the provisions of this act shall be paid over

by the said clerk to and for the use of the public

schools of said county.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.
