11. And te it enacted, That the Commissioner

of the Land Office shall be entitled to demand
|

and receive the following fees, to wit: For a

|
common warrant, two dollars ; for a special warrant,
|
 
|
three dollars ; for a special warrant of escheat, five
|
 
|
dollars ; for a special warrant of proclamation, five
|
 
|
dollars ; for a special warrant of resurvey, five dol-
|
 
|
lars ; for making out patent for any number of acres
less than one hundred, five dollars ; for making out
|
 
|
patent for every one hundred acres above one hun-
|
 
|
dred, one dollar additional ; for recording patent for
|
 
|
every one hundred words, thirteen cents ; for every
|
 
|
search, twenty-five cents ; for examining every cer-
|
 
|
tificate of survey of one hundred acres or under, one
|
 
|
dollar and sixty cents ; for examining every certifi-
|
 
|
cate of survey of, from one hundred to two hundred
|
 
|
acres, two dollars ; for examining every certificate of
|
 
|
survey of, from two hundred to three hundred acres,
|
 
|
two dollars and twenty-five cents; for examining
|
 
|
every certificate of survey for every one hundred
|
 
|
acres over three hundred acres, twenty-five cents;
|
 
|
for examining every certificate of resurvey up to
|
 
|
one hundred acres, three dollars; for examining
|
 
|
every certificate of resurvey of, from one hundred
|
 
|
to two hundred acres, three dollars and fifty cents ;
|
 
|
for examining every certificate of resurvey of, from
|
 
|
two hundred to three hundred acres, four dollars ;
|
 
|
for examining every certificate of resurvey for every
|
 
|
one hundred acres over three hundred, fifty cents ;
|
 
|
for examining every paper accompanying a certifi-
cate of survey or resurvey, twenty-five cents; for
|
 
|
entering a caveat, fifty cents ; for filing every paper,
|
 
|
ten cents ; for every certificate of award of soldiers'
|
 
|
lots, seventy-five cents; for making all copies, per
|
 
|
one hundred words, thirteen cents ; for every seal,
|
 
|
twenty-five cents.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
 
|
effect from the date of its passage.
|
 
|
