CHAPTER 56.


AN ACT to sanction certain bequests under the


last will and testament of Susan Duke Callow,


late of Baltimore city, deceased.


SECTIOX 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

eral Assembly of Maryland is hereby given to the
devises and bequests under the last will and testa-

ment of Susan Duke Callow, late of Baltimore city,


deceased, of record in the office of Register of Wills


of the said city, whereby is devised to the trustees


of the Stawbridge Methodist Episcopal Church, situ-


ated corner of Garden and Biddle streets, in the city


of Baltimore, the sum of two thousand dollars, and


the sum of one thousand dollars to the Trustees of


Stawbridge Church for the benefit of the Ladies' Mite


Society of the said church, and the sum of one thou-


sand dollars to the City Missionary and Church Ex-


tension Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church,


incorporated under the General Laws of the State of


Maryland. To the Missionary Society of the Metho-
dist Episcopal Church, incorporated by the Legisla-


ture of the State of New York, the sum of forty-five


hundred dollars. To the Methodist Preachers' Aid


Society, of the city of Baltimore, the sum of forty-


five hundred dollars. To the Home for the Aged


of the Methodist Episcopal Church the sum of five


thousand dollars. To the Church Extension Society


of the Methodist Episcopal Church, incorporated by


the Legislature of Pennsylvania, the sum of ten


thousand dollars, to be used as a part of the Per-


petual Loan Fund of said society, and hear the name


of the Durham Loan Fund. To the Trustees of


the United Presbyterian Church, situated corner of


Madison avenue and Biddle streets, in the city of


Baltimore, the sum of one thousand dollars.
