CHAPTER 331.

AN ACT making appropriations for the support
|
 
|
of the State Government for the fiscal year end-
|
 
|
ing on the thirtieth day of September, eighteen
|
 
|
hundred and eighty.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That for the expenditures in the sup-
|
 
|
port of the Government for the fiscal year begin-
ning with the first day of October, eighteen hun-
|

day of September, eighteen hundred and eighty,
the following sums of money, or so much thereof

as may be necessary, be and the same are hereby

appropriated, that is to say :

FOR STATE OFFICERS.
|
 
|
For the salary of the Governor, four thousand
|
 
|
five hundred dollars ; for the salary of the Secre-
|
 
|
tary of State, two thousand dollars ; for the salary
|
 
|
of the Comptroller of the Treasury, two thousand
|
 
|
five hundred dollars ; for the salary of the Chief
|
 
|
Clerk to the Comptroller, eighteen hundred dol-
|
 
|
lars ; for the salaries of three assistant clerks to
|
 
|
the Comptroller, twelve hundred dollars each — three
|
 
|
thousand six hundred dollars; for the salary of

for the salary of the chief clerk to the treasurer,
