or authorizing such purchase and the issue of such
certificates of indebtedness, or city stock, shall have

been submitted to the legal voters of the city of

Baltimore, at such time and place as may be fixed

by said ordinance, and approved by a majority of

the votes cast at such time and places.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 309.

AN ACT to change the corporate name of the Stock

Exchange of the city of Baltimore, to the Stock

and Real Estate Exchange of the city of Balti-

more, and to give said corporation the additional

power to establish and conduct a real estate ex-

change in said city.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the name and style of the Stock

Exchange of the city of Baltimore, a corporation
