Whereas by an act of January session, eighteen
|
 
|
hundred and seventy-six, chapter one hundred and
|

ninety-seven, certain persons included in the body

of said act not being named in the title thereof are
|
 
|
not entitled to the provisions of said act ; now, in
|
 
|
order to carry out the purposes of said act, therefore,
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That, on the warrant of the Comp-
|
 
|
troller, the Treasurer is hereby directed to pay to
|
 
|
Jacob Williams, of Talbot county, the sum of sev-
|
 
|
enty-three dollars and ninety-six cents, for taxes on
|
 
|
oyster house licenses, and to Charles W. Bennett, of
|
