or employ any sink box, of any description what-

 

ever, for the purpose of shooting at wild water

 

fowl therefrom in the waters described in section

 

one of this act without a license to so use and em-

 

ploy said box having first been obtained, as pro-

 

vided in this act.

 

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That upon information

 

being given, under oath, to any justice of the

 

peace of Cecil county, of any violation of any of

 

the provisions of this act, the said justice of the

 

peace shall issue his warrant for the arrest of the

 

offender or offenders, and the seizure of all sink

 

boxes and vessels, decoys, tackle or other furniture

 

belonging thereto, which warrant shall be directed

to the sheriff or any constable of Cecil county, or

fenders.

to one or more of those holding licenses and con-

 

stituted as officers to carry out the provisions of

 

this act ; and any one resisting an officer or other

 

person authorized to make arrests or seizures un-

 

der this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and,

 

upon indictment and conviction in the Circuit

 

Court of Cecil county, shall pay a fine of not less

 

than fifty dollars and not more than one hundred

 

dollars, or be imprisoned in the county jail for not

 

less than thirty days nor more than sixty days, or

 

be both fined and imprisoned, in the discretion of

 

the court.

 
   

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That when fines are

 

imposed for violations of this act, and the offender

 

or offenders refuse to pay the same, then the sheriff

 

or constable may proceed at public sale (after giv-

 

ing three weeks' notice of the time and place of

 

such sale by advertisement in one newspaper in
said county) to dispose of the sink box or other

cash ; and the proceeds of such sale, after deduct-
