CHAPTER 272.

AN ACT for the payment of a sum of money to
|
 
|
Henry E. Denison, of Annapolis, who received
|
 
|
disabling injuries while in the employ of the State.
|
 
|
Whereas Henry E. Denison, of Annapolis, Mary-
|
 
|
land, while employed as a painter in the repairs of
|
 
|
the State House, under the orders of the Board of
|
 
|
Public Works, received such bodily injuries by an
|

accident as to permanently disable him and deprive
him of the means of livelihood, and [and] for such
|
 
|
reason has a good and equitable claim upon the
|
 
|
State; therefore,
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the war-
|
 
|
rant of the Comptroller, be and he is hereby author-
|

ized and directed to pay to the order of Henry E.
|
 
|
Denison, of Annapolis, the sum of one hundred
|
 
|
dollars out of any money in the treasury not other-
|
 
|
wise appropriated.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.
|

thirty-eight of the Code of Public General Laws,

lic," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That section twenty-one of article
thirty-eight of the Code of Public General Laws,
|
