CHAPTER 238.

 

AN ACT to authorize a loan to relieve the treasury

 

from losses accruing from the failure of certain

 

sources of revenue; and, also, to authorize a sale

 

of certain bonds of the Baltimore and Ohio Rail-

 

road Company, therein referred to.

 

Whereas losses have accrued to the revenues of

 

the State from the failure of the Susquehanna and

 

Tide Water Canal Companies to pay the interest on
