CHAPTER 228.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the

|
claims of Thomas C. Basshor and Company, and
|
 
|
. Joseph Thomas and Sons, for work done and ma-
|
 
|
terial furnished at the State Normal School.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he is
|
 
|
hereby directed to draw his warrant upon the Treas-
|
 
|
urer for the sum of two thousand and thirty-seven
|
 
|
dollars and sixty-six cents, in favor of Thomas C.
Basshor and Company for work done and material
furnished at the State Normal School, and also in
|
Comptroller
directed to
issue war-
rants.
|
favor of Joseph Thomas and Sons, for two thousand
|
 
|
two hundred and thirty-three dollars and forty-two
|
 
|
cents, for work done and material furnished at the
|
 
|
State Normal School.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

CHAPTER 229.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments
|
 
|
the eighth section of the thirty-eighth article of
|
 
|
the Code of Public General Laws, title " Fees of
|
 
|
Officers."
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the eighth section of the
thirty-eighth article of the Code of Public General
|
Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
Laws, title " Fees of Officers," be and the same is
|
 
|
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
|
 
|
so as to read as follows :
|
