CHAPTER 157.


AN ACT to repeal the act of January session,


eighteen hundred and seventy-six, chapter one

hundred and seventy-three, entitled " An act regu-

lating the working and proper ventilation of coal

mines in Alleghany and Garrett counties, and pro-

viding for the appointment of an inspector for said

mines, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the act of January session,

eighteen hundred and seventy-six, entitled an act


regulating the working and proper ventilation of
coal mines in Alleghany and Garrett counties, and
