CHAPTER 23.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and thirty-

eight of the act passed at the January session,

eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter four

hundred and eighty-three, entitled " An act to re-
|
|
|
|
peal article eighty-one of the Code of Public G-en-
|
|
|
|
eral Laws of the State of Maryland, entitled,
|
|
|
|
Revenue and Taxes," and to re-enact the same
|
|
|
|
with amendments, and to amend and re-enact the
|
|
|
|
said one hundred and thirty-eighth section.

|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That section one hundred and thir-
|
|
|
|
ty-eight of the act passed at the January session,
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-four, chapter four hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and eighty-three, entitled "An act to repeal
|
|
|
|
article eighty-one of the Code of Public General
|
|
|
|
Laws of the State of Maryland," entitled " Reve-
|
|
|
Repealed,
|
nue and Taxes," and to re-enact the same with
|
|
|
amended and
re-enacted.

amended, and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
