CHAPTER 147.

|
AN ACT to explain certain corporate powers and
|
|
|
|
|
privileges heretofore conferred, and also to confer
|
|
|
|
|
additional powers and privileges upon the conven-
|
|
|
|
|
tion of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the
|
|
|
|
|
Diocese of Easton by authorizing it to receive, by
|
|
|
|
|
gift, devise, or otherwise, contributions in money,
|
|
|
|
|
land or other property, and to hold the same for
|
|
|
|
|
the purposes therein mentioned.

|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the corporate powers and privi-
|

leges conferred upon the convention of the Protest-

the Act of Assembly, passed at January session,

eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter twenty-three,
for the incorporation of said convention, be and the

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
