	Petroleum or its products, used for illuminating pur-
	poses offered for sale in the city of Baltimore, and
	for the appointment of Inspectors for that purpose.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Mayor and
	City Council shall have full authority to pass all or-	Authority
	dinances necessary to carry into effect the powers	to pass ordi-
	granted by the preceding section, and to impose by	nances.

	CHAPTER 122.
	AN ACT to repeal section three of chapter one hun-
	dred and thirty-five, of the acts of eighteen hun-
	dred and seventy, entitled " an act to incorporate
	the town of Manchester, in Carroll county," and
	to re-enact the said section so as to read as follows:
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That section three of chapter one hundred and thirty-five, of the acts of the General
	Assembly, passed at the January session, eighteen
	hundred and seventy, and which is incorporated in	Repealed
	article seven of the " supplement to the Maryland	and re-enact-
	Code, containing the acts of the General Assembly	ed.

	section twenty-four, sub-section one, be and the same
	is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as
	follows :
