CHAPTER 91.


AN ACT to prescribe and define the duties of the


Comptroller of the Treasury relative to the ap-


portionment and distribution of the revenue deriv-


ed from the annual tax levied for the support of free


public schools, and to confine the apportionments


and distributions thereof, heretofore made by that


officer.


Whereas doubts have arisen as to the manner in


which under existing laws, the apportionment of


the revenue derived from the annual tax levied for


the support of free public schools should be appor-


tioned among the several counties and the city of

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
