CHAPTER 87.


AN ACT to create a new election district in Mont-


gomery county, to be known as Bethsda district,


number seven, or the seventh election district of


Montgomery county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That a new election district be formed

and laid out in Montgomery county out of portions
of the fourth and fifth election districts, to be known

district.

and bounds shall be as follows : Beginning on the

Potomac river at the point where the dividing line


between Montgomery county and the District of


Columbia crosses, the same then running with said


dividing line in a northeasterly direction until the


same crosses near the residence of Hon. Montgomery


Blair, then with said dividing line in a southeasterly


direction until the same is crossed by the turnpike


leading from Brookville to Washington city, then


with said turnpike in a northerly direction until the


same is crossed by the Metropolitan Branch of the


Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, then with said rail-


road in a westerly direction until the same crosses


the county road east of Rock creek and near New-


port mills, then with said county road until it inter-


sects the turnpike leading from Rockville to George-
town, then with a straight line to the intersection of


the Orendoff mill road with the old Georgetown


road, near the residence of Isaac O. Rabbitt, then


with said Orendoff mill road until the same is


crossed by Thomas' run, then down and with said


Thomas' run until the same empties into Cabin


John creek, then down and with said Cabin John


creek until the same empties into the Potomac


river, then down and with the Potomac river to


the place of beginning.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the voting place
or polls in said district shall be held at or near the
