House bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to appropriate a sum of
money annually for the relief of the Simmons' Home
for Friendless Children of Baltimore.

Said bill was then sent to the Senate.
House bill entitled an Act to change the name of
the "Loan and Security Company of Anne Arundel
County," and to declare and enlarge the powers of
such corporation,
Was considered.
Mr. Joyce moved to commit said bill to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.
Mr. Brashears moved as a substitute that the bill
be re-committed to the Committee on the Judiciary.
Which was rejected.
The question then recurred on the original motion
submitted by Mr. Joyce.
Which motion prevailed, and bill so referred.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 2, of chapter 332, of the
Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to regulate the measure-
ment of peas, beans and other farm products.
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows :
