Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of arbitrators to ascertain and fix the true
boundary between the States of Maryland and West
Virginia, and to authorize the Attorney General to
dismiss the suit now pending in the Supreme Court of
the United States institituted by the State of Mary-
land vs. the State of West Virginia, upon the accep-
tance by said State of the mode of the settlement of
the dispute as to said boundary provides by this Act.
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays,
as follows:

Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
House bill entitled an Act to prevent deception and
fraud by owners and agents who may have control of
any stallion kept for service by proclaiming or pub-
lishing fraudulent or false pedigrees or records, and
to protect such owners or agents, and the collection of
fees for services of such stallions, and to prevent the
entering of trotting horses out of their classes.
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows :
