The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
House bill entitled an Act to add an addilional sec-
tion to Article 4, Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title, "Licenses," to be
known as "Section 664. A," authorizing the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to license and regulate
telegraph, telephone and electric light poles in the
streets, lanes and alleys of said city.
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays, with proposed amendments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend by striking out "and from telephone and
electric light poles," and inserting afier these words,
when amended, the words "and electric railway poles."
Which was adopted.
Also, amend by striking out the amendment attached
to the bill entitled "amendment proposed," and which
reads as follows:
Amend by striking out "and from telephone and
electric light poles and alleys," inserting after the
words "where amended," the words "and electric
railway poles."
Which was adopted.
