"Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Harford:
county and the Town Commissionersof the town of Bel
Air, be and they are hereby authorized in their discre-
tion to exempt from the payment of all county and muni-
cipal tax, the plant of the Bel A ir Water and Light Com-
pany, of Harford county, consisting of fire plugs,
pipes and all other material necessary for the oper-
.ation of said water works.
"Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage."
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time.
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal certain sections
of Article 20. of the Code of Public Local Laws, being
the Local Code for Somerset county, title "County
Commissioners," sub-title "Revenue and Taxes," and
to enact other sections in lieu thereof, respecting the
terms of office and powers of the County Commis-
sioners.

Somerset County Delegation,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 201, 202, 203, 204, 205 and
206, of Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Mineral
Waters. Porter and other Beverages."

Committee on the Judiciary.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 277, of
Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Roads,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments and to add
