House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 743, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police," and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

The House resolved itself into a
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE,
to re-consider said bill.
The Speaker called Mr. Field to the Chair, when
Said bill entitled an Act to repeal section 743, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police,"
Was considered.
Mr. Fuld, submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After the word ' days," in section 743, strike out
the words "exclusive of Sundays."
Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Carter,
The committee then rose.
The Speaker resumed the chair.
Mr. Field as Chairman of the Committee of the
Whole House, reported the said bill with the proposed
amendment, with recommendation that the proposed
amendment be adopted, and bill passed.
