Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Washington county to issue bonds
for building a school house in Hagerstown, in election
district No. 21 in said county, and to levy a tax for,
the payment of the same.
Which were severally read a first time.
Mr. Sellman, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 3 to 16,
both inclusive of the Acts of 1888, chapter 295, en-
titled an Act to incorporate the town of Hampstead,
Carroll county.
Which, on motion, was ordered placed on third
reading file.
SECOND READING RESOLUTIONS.
Mr. Combs, from the Committee on Federal Rela-
tions, reported favorably,
Joint Resolution requesting the Senators and Rep-
resentatives of this State in the Congress oi the United
States to vote for and urge the passage of the Hatch
bill now pending before Congress.
Which was read a second time, and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :
