Mr. Grove submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out all after the words "a bill," in title, and
insert the following in lieu thereof:
House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the M, J. Grove Lime Company of Frederick county,
by authorizing the said company to purchase and hold
lands in this and other States, districts and territories
of the United States, to enlarge the powers, increase
the capital stock and perpetuate the existence of said
corporation.
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

of Aberdeen, in Harford county.
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:
