528 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 29,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and 2,
of chapter 516, of the Laws of Maryland, passed by
the General Assembly of Maryland, at the December
Session of the year 1849, and to re-enact the same with
amendments, and to add additional sections thereto,
entitled "Section 2 A, section 2 B, section 2 C and sec-
tion 2 D."
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows :
AFFIRMATIVE.—Messrs. Speaker, Combs, Strong,
Wilson, Brashears, Sappington, of Anne Arundel,
Lane, Carrico, Maddox, Orrick, Cole, Elliott, Ham-
ilton, Jr., Monmonier, Wooters, Anderson, Sterling,
Meredith, Smith, of Dorchester, Miles, Kirk, Grove,
of Cecil, Bowie, of Prince George's, Hill, Wallen,
Franklin, Hayman, McSherry, Gaver, Sappington, of
Frederick, Bevard. Deen, Johnson, Thompson, Bowie,
of Balto, city, Gill, Sams, Smith, of Washington,

Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Allegany county to issue bonds for
building school houses in Allegany county, and to
levy a tax for the payment of the same.
