476 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 25,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize, empower
and direct the County Commissioners of Prince
George's county to purchase from the stockholders of
the District of Columbia and Upper Marlboro' Turn-
pike Company, all the property and the rights, privi-
leges and franchises of said corporation, to be used as
a public road.
Which were severally read a first time.
Mr. Smith, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 239, of
Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Dorchester County," sub-title "Oysters," and to re-
enact the same with amendments.
Mr. Collins moved to commit said bill to the Com-
mittee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Which was rejected.
Mr. "P ashears, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably ,
Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for selecting,
drawing and summoning the jurors for Anne Arundel
county.
Which was read a second time.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, new section 146, of Article 33, of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, as
enacted by the Acts of 1890, chapter 538.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 4, of Article 33, of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Elec-
tins," sub-title ''Registration."
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments new section 19, of Article 33, of the
Code of Public Generil Laws, title "Elections," sub-
title "Registration," as enacted by the Acts of 1890,
chapter 573.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 650, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Lo al Laws of Mary-
land, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor and
Intoxicating Drinks."
Which were severally read a second time and or-
dered engrossed for a third reading.
