Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message :
House bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction
of the General Assembly of Maryland to a devise
contained in the last will and testament of Harriet A.
Hayden, deceased.
Endorsed : "Read a third time, and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :
Also,
House hill entitled an Act granting the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the gift of
Elizabeth C. Lane, of Washington county, to the
Board of Home and Foreign Missions.
Endorsed : "Read a third time, and passed by yeas
and nays."
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 156 and
159, of Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "Washington County," sub-title "Hagers-
town," and to re-enact the following in lieu thereof,
in amending and revising the charter of Hagerstown,
and in providing for the government thereof, and to
add new and additional sections to Article 22, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Washington
County," sub-title "Hagerstown."
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to add two additional
sections to Article 27 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title " Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title
"Railroads Obstructing," to follow section 281, and
to be known as "Sections 231 A and 231 B," respec-
tively.
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
